school closings?
My day care center told me they may be closed tomorrow. What the heck am I supposed to do? We both work and I'll be coming off the night shift. Not even sure if I will get out on time.... and I doubt starbucks will be opening on time to help me stay up! lol

school closings?
I'm not surprised that they're warning parents that they may be closing. It gives them time to figure out alternative care. Some districts have already called it for tomorrow b/c who knows when the plows will come if it's not supposed to stop til 6am.

school closings?
Our daycare already closed for tomorrow. I will have to take a personal day, which I am not thrilled about. But I also understand that they want to think about their staff, and if the snow won't even stop until 6 AM, who knows if I would have been able to work myself!

Islip, C. Islip, Pat-Med, and Bellmore have already announced closings tomorrow. I'm sure there will be lots more and I would be shocked if any didn't at least have a delay. With the snow starting early and predicted to continue into tomorrow morning they need time to deal with all the snow.

My daycare warned us they may close. It's normal and if it happens then DH or I will take a sick day. It happens.

Daycare closed early and advised they will probably be closed tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. My NYC office closed, which never happens.

Bayport, Lynbrook, Merrick, & West Babylon are closed tomorrow as well.

I know of a lot of day cares closed tomorrow. It's dangerous out there and dangerous for the staff to try to come in at 6am (or whenever).
