Downton Abbey (episode 3)
Bates and Anna  Ugh, I just feel so terrible for her AND for him. He's so sad and so confused, and while I can't blame her AT ALL, I just wish she could somehow tell him without it causing the disaster she's expecting.
I wanted to yell at that Tony guy, who I liked last week, but really? It's been a few months -- give Mary a break! 
And Mrs. Hughes is rapidly becoming my favorite. (I totally called Tom going to talk to her after Mary told him to find someone to talk to. DH just rolled his eyes at me for bragging about being right about that.  )
It needs to be next Sunday already. I wonder how many more weeks we're going to get and if they'll condense episodes here again like they did last year...
ETA: I just checked -- it ends on 2/23, and only the last episode is two hours. So much more Downton.

Downton Abbey (episode 3)
Looooove Mrs. Hughes! She and Mrs. Patmore make the show.
Hopefully that's the last we'll see of Edna. I thought it was pretty lame to recycle that storyline.

Downton Abbey (episode 3)
I kept yelling at the TV: TELLL HIMMMMMMMM ANNA!!!
This episode was filled with so much anxiety like when Anna had to sit next to her rapist, when Braithwait was trying to blackmail Tom with a fake pregnancy, Anna & Bates conversations, the whole scene in Ms. Hughes office with Her, Tom & Braithwait.
I think Ms Hughes is going to either tell Bates high at happened or Tell Mr Carson and it will just go from there.
I was happy and sad this episode was over. I didn't know how much more I could take.

And I loved Mrs. Hughes this week...she is one of my favorites!

I always liked Mrs Hughes but when she confronted her about the pregnancy thing for Tom, I fell in love with her. She's awesome!
The Anna/Bates story line is breaking my heart. I love them together and just love Anna overall. She is such a good person and I hate that this happened to her I hope she tells Bates soon so it doesn't cause too much of a rift in their relationship.
I love this show so much

Downton Abbey (episode 3)
i was an episode behind and caught up, last night.
i thought i was going to have a heart attack with so much going on!!!
i can't wait for that rapist to get his... i don't know why, but i have a feeling that thomas barrow will help anna/bates on this one. call me crazy, but i think he'll be the one who puts him in his place. i keep wanting to believe that there is good in him.

Barrow getting involved crossed my mind too! It's the only time that sneaky snake will be good! hahaha

Oh I hope that's the case because I feel the same way about Barrow! It would be great to see him do something good without an ulterior motive, even just once.
I was just talking to my mom about Barrow today... I do have a soft spot for him after the end of last season -- the way he broke down over Sybil and said that not many people had been kind to him in his life and how she was one of them. I did ache for him then. And when the truth about his sexuality came out, and Carson was disgusted by him, it also destroyed him. I like the idea of him helping Anna and Bates. I think he has a devil on one shoulder, yes, but I think there's an angel somewhere there, too, for sure. (Fingers crossed now that it happens like that!)

Barrow is definitely being painted in a more positive light this season, and I feel he is on his way back to everyones good graces.... I feel he will definitely do good things this time around!!!
