Back here and in hiding! UPDATE!!!!

Hi ladies!

So I have a 16 month old son and got my BFP New Year's Day. I estimate to be about 6+2 today and don't have my first OB visit until 8+3. I don't post here often but I did when I was pg with DS. DH and I are so excited but also can't help but be nervous.

I knew I was pg from conception bc I felt exactly how I did when I fell pg with DS. Sounds crazy but I was 100% positive. Since then though, my symptoms have been a bit different. My boobs are sore (although not to the point where I need to wear a bra to bed, but neither were they like that with DS), I'm exhausted (more than I was with pg #1), no spotting, light cramping although that's calming down (exactly the same as with DS, started stronger and then calmed down around 5.5 weeks), etc. The BIG difference between the pregnancies is the morning sickness. Last time, ms started at 5+3 and by 6 weeks, I was vomiting every single day. By 7 weeks, it was multiple times a day and eventually I was diagnosed with hyperemesis and needed Zofran. I was anemic and beyond miserable. With this pregnancy, ms started at 5+6. I was nauseous a few times throughout the day and needed to keep something in my stomach. On Friday (6w exactly), I was REALLY nauseous. Woke up sick at 6:30, DH had to get up with DS. I managed to slowly nibble on a piece of toast and some seltzer, and eventually felt better. I was VERY nauseous on and off all day into evening, but never threw up. I also noticed that my sense of smell had spiked, just like it did with DS. I could smell my poor DH's scent and it made me sicker. It's not a body odor or sweaty smell, just a certain scent I can't put my finger on but I noticed it when I was pg the first time, too. So yesterday I woke up nauseous but not as nauseous as the day before. I also didn't notice that scent. Today I woke up not feeling nauseous at all. Went downstairs and it hit, so I nibbled on some saltines. That odd scent was back, too. I know that symptoms are supposed to fluctuate but I can't help but worry a little. I was so used to being sick as a dog the first time but this time it comes and goes. I hate feeling sick but it's reassuring at the same time.

Wow I'm sorry this is soooooo long. I look forward to "coming out" soon!!


UPDATE: Went for my first appt this morning and everything was perfect!!! Baby measuring 8w 6d, HB very strong at 154. So thrilled!!! Looking forward to coming out of hiding.

Congrats and welcome back! I am pregnant with my first. I am almost 6 weeks and don't really feel much. It makes me a little nervous but I know it is still early.

Congratulations! I have a 15 month old DD and am about 9 weeks pg.

I'm almost 7 weeks with #3 and each pregnancy for me has been different as well.

Thanks, ladies!! So my fluctuating symptoms seem pretty normal? How about the scent thing though? Shouldn't my sense of smell remain high throughout? I only had 1-2 days of that intense sense of smell, but with DS I had it every day until I went on Zofran.

Congratulations!! Just want to add I'm currently pregnant with my third and all three of my pregnancies had different symptoms. I had morning sickness with all of them, but they where all different.

Congrats!!! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I have MS which I never had with DS!
