Car seat placement
I'm just wondering if there are any recommendations on car seat placement for two kids - should the older be on the passenger or drivers side? Does it even matter?
Dd will be 15 months when lo arrives - I'm just wondering if I should move her to the drivers side or just put the newborn there
Eta - can't put a seat in the middle, I can't reach it

If no one is in the middle, I do t think it really matters who is where.

Re: Car seat placement
I have my newborn behind the passenger seat and my 4 year old behind the driver seat in a booster seat.

Re: Car seat placement
I'd put the newborn behind the passenger, mainly because I think the infant seat will fit better there. If you need to move the seat forward a bit to accommodate the infant seat, it is easier to move the passenger side since you don't have to worry about somebody being comfortable enough to drive.

Again all that answered here are not correct to your specific needs.
The proper placement for the majority of vehicles is older child behind driver and infant on passenger side. There are a variety of reasons for this placement all based on safety and not opinions.
You may not place an infant seat next to another seat if they touch - it is not safe. Please let me know the car you have to see if it might be one of the very few exceptions.
