Back pain or more than that?

I'm 31 weeks and I have major back pain in the pelvis area and every once in a while I get pain down there.
I probably over did it today and now I wonder what is happening. I also wonder if I can use a hearing pass or is this something more?

Need advise.

Back pain or more than that?

I can't live without a heating pad these days. As soon as I hit the 3rd trimester, it's been hell. Lower back pain, hip pain, feeling like my vagina is falling out pain, and restless leg.

I don't put the heating pad anywhere but my back though.

Back pain or more than that?

I actually went to a physical therapist who specializes in pregnancy back pain- she has 3 offices - all in Suffolk. it definitely didn't magically make my pain disappear but it helped

Re: Back pain or more than that?

I have an appointment today anyway but I was able to get some sleep. If you could only see I had pillows under my head, knees, behind me all around me lol. Then I had to go to the bathroom it was a sight. If I still hurt tonight I will try the hearing pad
Thanks

Re: Back pain or more than that?

It's funny (Chat Icon) that this is the first post I read, since I barely made it into work today... I'm almost 25 weeks and today is just dreadful! I'm sitting most of the day at work, but just can't get uncomfortable and have an hour commute each way with a 15 min walk in between subway rides. Been waking up more at night and I guess all of this is just not helping!!!!! I haven't tried heating pads but I do find that yoga helps (I just wish I went more than once a week)... Hopefully Physical therapy will do the rick for ya

Hi, I am Dr. Laura Bowen, a vendor on LIF. I specialize in Pregnancy Chiropractic. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions. I don't advise using a heating pad on your lower back during pregnancy.

I am interested in why using a heating pad is not advised- my OB who is also a maternal fetal
Medicine specialist also said it was OK.
