Playtex Lil Gripper Straw Cup ques

Does anyone get super irritated that the straw isn't long enough in their lil gripper straw cup? i.e. there is always 1-2 oz of milk left in the bottom of this cup and it is starting to really annoy me. I like these cups though bc there is no valve and its easy for her to suck. I have tried a few other brands and she cries when she can't get the milk up.

I would probably find it more annoying if DD ever actually got to the bottom of a cup of milk! I think the bigger cups are better than the smaller one with the handles though.

I have a big munchkin one and I cut the valve so its easy to suck. The straw does go to the bottom so its nice. However - it is hard for her to drink from bigger cups in her high chair bc she is short and her tray is high and it doesn't fit.

its so annoying!! I usually open the cup and pull the straw down.. they have to work a little harder at the end to get their lips around the straw but it gets most of the milk out. Chat Icon

When I connect the soft straw (the part above the cap) to the hard straw (the part below the cap), I don't push the hard straw in all the way. I leave it long enough so that when I screw the cap shut, the hard straw angles toward the bottom edge of the cup. Hopefully that makes sense.

Basically, when the cup is sitting upright, the straw is angled to the side and is snug against the bottom corner. When the cup is being used and tilted, the straw reaches to the very bottom of the liquid.

Yes I have tried that but it sounds like she is slurping and getting air? Maybe I will try again.
