One more question. Difficulty taking deep breath?
I know this sounds odd, but it seems like I can't take a good, deep breath. It's really frustrating and happening constantly. I feel somewhat short of breath and I keep yawning in hopes of getting a deep breath in.
Has this happened to anyone else? I don't recall having this during my other pregnancies.
I'm not even 8 weeks.

I had that throughout my first trimester. I could hardly walk a block without getting out of breath. It went away until today--I am nearly 32 weeks.

Re: One more question. Difficulty taking deep breath?
I had this all the time when I was having anxiety issues even before being pregnant Yawning constantly but unable to get a really deep/satisfying breath in. Not like I couldn't breath but just that it never felt like a good breath. It was horribly annoying and still comes back now and again when I lack sleep or am stressed out at work. It wasn't at all like when I was breathless at the end of my pregnancy due to my belly pushing on my diaphragm that was true breathlessness hehe. It's probably a combination of your hormones, increased awareness to your body (that comes with being somewhat more anxious during pregnancy) and natural increase in oxygen consumption/heart rate etc that comes with being pregnant. It may go away after your body adjusts to increased oxygen demands then come back at the end when you truely can't breath with that big belly. Try your best not to focus on it, that only makes it worse :(
