My previous Dr I think I never waited less than an hour, it was so annoying to deal with my entire pregnancy. I went for my 6wk postpartum check up and waited an hour and a half, with my newborn... that was the last straw. I get that they have emergencies and need to fit people into the schedule but every appt to be over an hour wait is totally unacceptable. I switched to a new doctor and so far I have not waited more than 10 mins.

Anywhere from half an hour to two hours! They start being apologetic after an hour and a half but it is still infuriating!!!!!!!

I ended up waiting nearly 2 hours! It was my first visit there and a new dr. for me. He came highly recommended here. I am already so far along that I wanted to at least be seen. I was so upset by the time the dr. came in. I was hungry (didn't eat so I wouldn't be late) and crying. It was embarrassing, but I have never, ever waited that long for a dr. He said he didn't even know why since he was running on time?? I don't know if I ever want to go back. He seemed nice enough, and I got to see the baby  , but still it was a very bad experience. Enough to make me want to write a bad review (but I am too afraid of karma! )

how long is your average wait for your obgyn?
I tend to go in the evening before they close, and often wait an hour. When I went early in the am I only had to wait like 5 minutes which was amazing

5-10 mins?
My old practice was hours.. they would have you call before and tell you how many HOURS behind he was and you would still wait once you got there.. Obviously I switched after my daughter was born

usually no more than 10 minutes...he always asks me how long i waited and feels bad if its a longer wait than that

My old practice, no less than an hour and a half in the waiting room and then up to 45 mins. waiting for the doc in the exam room!
I switched at week 28 to a different practice and haven't waited more than 20 mins...I am usually out of there in an hour, tops.

At my old practice as an OB patient, I never waited more than a few minutes. As a gyno patient, the wait could be up to 45 minutes.
My current practice the wait is horrendous in a packed, tiny waiting room. Looking for a new doc....

This exactly. I left the practice that delivered my DD bcc the wait times were out of control. Over an hour EVERY time!
