Dd will NOT let me change her diaper!
I'm really hoping its just because she has her canines coming in and has been congested (not sure if that's related or if she has a cold). Either way, she absolutely refuses to stay laying down so I can wipe and change her. She sobs and screams and I try but I can't keep her down. When dh is around he helps me hold her down but we feel bad like we're traumatizing her. Today I've been trying to change her while she's standing up, but I don't feel like I'm able to get her clean enough or get the diaper on properly. Any experience with this? I really hope its a phase that will pass when her teeth break through and the congestion goes away. She's never been good at staying still for changes but I always could give her something to play with to keep her occupied long enough. Now she's immediately screaming and scrambling to get away.

my dd is the same way. It's like I am wrestling a bull.. at the end I am sweating and everything..it's ridiculous!

Mine fights me tooth and nail but for some reason screams when Dh changes her. Its so much fun.

DS has been that way since he learned to roll over. Never sits still. I try to give him toys to distract him and I have to be quick.

Same exact way! It's sometimes successful to give her novel items like my iPhone or the A&D tube.

Thanks for the replies! She has been giving me a hard time with diaper changes for months now, but its really been so much worse just the past two days. Nothing distracts her, no matter what I offer her and she just screams and completely resists letting me lay her down. What I'm mostly wondering is will this hopefully pass once her teeth come in and her stuffy nose goes away? Also, could this maybe be a sign of an ear infection. It's doesn't seem to be a matter of just being fidgety/bored. The way she's fighting it so harshly makes it seem like she's in pain when I lay her flat.

Try a sticker on her hand. It worked for awhile for my girls.

To get my girls to sit still/lie still, I have to give them something they're not allowed to have. A remote, my phone, a tube of cream, the package of wipes... you name it. They're nuts, and I have no idea why they flip around. At least on the changing table they cooperate better than on the floor- then it's a free-for-all. This has been going on since they're 7or 8 months old.
