How long would you let a diaper rash go until

you see a ped?

The rash is just in the front area of her vagina, like on the folds (sorry for TMI)


It's been like 4 days so far....I have meetings Mon and Tues and was going to wait till Wed to call the ped (if its still there by then I want to go in) Of course my mom is out of the country now so I can't ask her LOL

What about calling tomorrow if you can't make it to the ped? Maybe they can suggest something other than what you have tried....

When I called about a diaper rash, the ped called in an rx for silverdene (I think that's what it's called). We had already tried a paste made of mylanta, zinc and a&d ointment (that was their first suggestion).

We have nystatin from a previous one, so we're gonna try that first (starting tonight) and I'll call.
