where to stay in san antonio?
Dh and i are going to houston to visit family next month, and we're planning on spending a night at a hotel in San Antonio-doing the Alamo and the Riverwalk, having dinner. I went, but years ago, and I don't think we stayed overnight.
Any suggestions on hotels?

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt. It was a few blocks from the Riverwalk. Big hotel -- no complaints.

where to stay in san antonio?
I stayed at the Mariott Rivercenter about four years ago for three days and loved it. It has a back door that opens to the Rivercenter mall with shopping, restaurants, close to river walk, and the gondola ride.

I've stayed at and Loved Hotel Contessa. Right on the Riverwalk.
Also have stayed and really liked Hotel Valencia on the Riverwalk.
Those would be my top 2 choices.
