The recall was because people used them incorrectly. Like most recalls... They weren't meant to be used in beds or in cribs...

JBon is correct for posting the information. Five babies died. It is illegal under federal law for any person to sell, offer for sale, manufacture, distribute in commerce, or import into the United States any model of the Nap Nanny or Chill recliner or the covers.

Im not selling one but dd has used this now for 18 mo and I still loves to lay in it. Used correctly its fine

I had a nap nanny for my first which I loved! i choose not to reuse it for my second. I have a rock and play for my second and think that they are comparable- possibly even better. My ds used to hang out of the sides in really weird positions in the nap nanny.
