initial blood work?
What do they test for?
I had my blood taken at my last appt. DH has been on my case about getting the results and i told him if there was any concern im sure they wouldve called me. Regardless i called and they couldnt tell me over the phone what the results are because my Dr is not in. All she told me was "they are all back". Thats great! now i get to worry until thursday to know what they are.

I was always under the impression that it's just basically a pregnancy blood test but I could be totally wrong!

initial blood work?
My initial bw consisted of a bunch of things - HIV test, testing to see if I'm a Cystic Fibrosis carrier, checking blood type, blood cell count, testing for Rubella and Chicken Pox immunity, Hep B, Syphillis, and b/c I was high risk for it, glucose.

Yep, all these things, plus maybe even a couple of other things? They took like 10 vials of blood lol

Ditto. This was at my 8 week appt

I was 6 weeks when they took blood and it was also like 10 vials of blood! Lol
