Returns at Toysrus without receipt
Does anyone know if Toys r Us, takes back items without receipts?
DS, got some imaginarium tracks for Christmas I would like to return (duplicate gift), but the giver did not include a gift receipt.

they can use your license to return an item, but you will get lowest sale price.
If you have not done too many returns with license there it will go through.

I went to TRU do an even exchange, they just returned the item and gave me store credit.
I had no receipt b/c the item was a Christmas present (DS rec'd 2 of the same item).
The problem is, the item returned I was given the lowest price w/i the past 90 days. I was given credit of $17.99+ tax.
When I went to purchase the replacement item (same price) I was charged the current selling price of $24.99.

They will ask for your license so they will do it with your license. However the max of returns is $100 which stinks !!!
IMO they are the WORST with returns

I just returned items without a receipt that totaled 134 and they have no problem. That was at the holbrook tru

I think the limit is different at each tru. The one by me has a $75 limit
