Mama's with curly haired daughters

What baby safe products do you use on your LO? DD is 2.5 and has fine curly hair. It always looks so cute when she gets out of the bath at night and it dries naturally. But in the morning when she wakes up Chat Icon Chat Icon whoaaahhh. We call her "Einstein" bc her hair is so wacky. I usually just spritz it with some water to get the curls back into shape but it's getting longer now and I was looking for something to help keep her curls in tact throughout the day. Are there any safe sprays or whatnot that you have tried??

We use Ouidad products and love them. If you sign up for their emails they frequently offer promotions, so it isn't too expensive with a coupon code. And they are one ebates.

Thanks! Is it safe for kids?

And weird question- did we by chance meet at a nail salon recently and have a discussion about this? I remember someone I met in my nail place telling me about her love for these products and how her daughter had curly hair too. Chat Icon

Yes - they have a kids line.

Wasn't me! That's funny though!

Mama's with curly haired daughters

After a bath at night I braid dds hair to keep it from getting crazy and then in the morning I just finish it off with some reg hairspray. I don't have any recommendation on products, I just use good old suave lol

I use a wet brush for my daughters hair and mine too. Best brush ever. Gets the tangles out very easily.

I have very curly hair so I use my Devachan conditioner on DD's curls. It's not for kids per se, but it's paraben, sulfate and silicone free.

Re: Mama's with curly haired daughters

I dont use a "baby safe" product on her hair...i started just using the tiniest bit of Aveeno anti frizz stuff on her ends and woah what a difference it makes. Her hair went from super crazy to smooth curls and they dont tangle as much. I figured i use baby safe shampoo that using this just a dab on the ends is fine.

I love these products. I really like the spray gel but I use the shampoo and conditioner too.
Here's a link on Sephora:

Ouidad Krly Kids Spray Gel

I give DD her bath at night, so in the morning I lightly spray her hair with water and then spray on the hair gel. Then I scrunch with my fingers. It works great and it doesn't make her hair crunchy.
