Car seat for envoy or trailblazer?
Any recs for a car seat (will be RF) that will fit in an envoy/trailblazer that I don't need to mess with towels and pool noodles for?

What year is the car? Are we talking about an infant carrier or a convertible car seat?
Also, FM me with regard to possibly helping you install the seat

I used to have an Envoy (I think it was a 2006). I had my Britax Marathon in it rear facing with no issues.

Car seat for envoy or trailblazer?
I know this may not help, but we do have a 2008 Trailblazer. I have the Britax Boulevard seats and we do use pool noodles under them.

You should not need pool noodles under a Britax in your car - check that the seat is not over reclined or that your rear-tether if used is not pulling the seat at too great an angle - you may want to have the seat checked.
