How to clean used car seat for new baby?
I just took out the carseat from DC#1 to use for DC#2. It is not expired but could use some freshening up from being in storage for 2 years. Any suggestions on how to clean it? It's in perfect condition but I want it to be sterile. Are Clorox wipes to harsh?

How to clean used car seat for new baby?
Can you take off the fabric part and throw it in the wash? I have a Chicco infant seat and washed it a bunch of times since DS spit up and had accidents while in the seat!

How to clean used car seat for new baby?
ITA with the others - throw the cloth part in the wash. Just make sure not to wash the seat belt straps themselves - you should only be wiping those clean.

This, and use a damp cloth on the straps, n o harsh cleaners and don't immerse them.
