Ovulation test line ?

I'm new to the ovulation tests, my dr recommended I try it this month after my chemical. Last night I felt a twinge of ovulation pains, but I'm only CD10. So I tested, and it had a very light line. Does this mean ovulation is starting? Or does it mean nothing because it has to be the same or darker than the control? Is it normal to get light lines days before O?

I normally get a lighter line right before I start ovulating.

I don't know if it means that you are starting ovulation or not... but I did get light lines starting at day 10. I don't think that it is really important though because you have to wait until its 2 lines are the same color. I think the average days for women to get the same color lines are between day 14 and day 16. But obviously it varies between women.

I usually start BDing a few days before a positive anyway. When I see the lighter lines showing I usually get a full positive a day or two later. So it helps me know I'm on the right check (not that we've had any success yet though lol). GL!!
