My DD was swaddled almost 24/7 in the beggining because she was so fussy/ colicky and it was the only thing that calmed her.
So yes!

If you swaddle at night...
We only swaddled for naps a couple of times when she was very fussy.

Yes. My ds immediately calms and falls asleep and stays asleep when swaddled.
