Bleeding...

About 2 weeks ago I experienced some bleeding at 11.5 weeks. Went to my OB and the baby was fine but the dr didn't know where the bleeding came from...was told to rest for a week or so. The bleeding happened 2 times and then had some brown spotting for 2 days after. Then abt a week after it stopped I had some brown discharge mixed in w regular discharge and have been for a few days now. Usually it only lasts for abt a hour or so, then stops. I have no cramping and is brown. I also just had my NT on Friday and the baby is measuring perfect. They did find a small blood clott but the dr was absolutely not worried at all.

With DD I was on progesterone my whole pregnancy and I am starting to get worried that my progesterone is low this time too. Not sure if it's at all related. Will ask tomorrow for my dr to test my level.

Has anyone had any experience that they care to share?

I have had some form of spotting throughout my entire pregnancy, except for maybe a couple of weeks in my 2nd tri. No known cause was found on any early sonos, my NT or my 20w scan. At 35w I still have a spotting occurrence at least once a week. I continue to mention it to my doctor to record but it seems to be my normal, for this pregnancy. It was much more disconcerting in the earlier months before I could feel the baby regularly.

If you're concerned about progesterone, definitely rule it out as a cause. Good luck!

i had bleeding early on - around 9 weeks
a TON of bleeding actually
went to the doctor and everything was fine, but he saw a clot. he told me i could bleed my entire pregnancy and not to worry but call them and they will have me come in for an ultrasound just to check on things. thankfully, i havent had anymore bleeding

i was also on progesterone until 12 weeks...and was told to stop then bc the placenta takes over producing it. im currently 17 weeks and assume my levels are fine (had bloodwork done last week will get the results tomorrow).

if you are worried, call your dr, have them do blood to check your levels.

i bled for most of my pregnancy

several hemotomas and a ruptured placenta at 18 weeks

everything turned out ok..it is so scary!
