Car seat help!

OK, so after much research, we decided on the britax boulevard (actually, all this occurred months ago, and we purchased it back in June!) as our convertible after dd outgrows the carrier/base system.

Well, DH installed it tonight, and the incline is way way off! She is entirely upright! Our back seats are inclined upwards as they come forward. We tried the rolled up towel, but the seat felt really insecure. I am heartbroken, I loved this car seat.

Questions:
1) any other advice on how to change the incline?
2) will bru even take the return 6 mos. later?
3) any safe car seat recs for a seat with lots of "leveling" options built in (as opposed to towels and noodles)?

Thank you!

Car seat help!

We have a chicco nextfit and it has a super easy built in leveling option. It's fit in all of the 5 cars I've put it in with no issues at all.

Babies r us will let you take the carseats to the car and try them before you buy them so maybe you should do that.

Are you sure the seat is in recline position 3 before you installed its. Pull the grey handle at the bottom to recline.

Did you recline the seat before installing?

So again, before any answer can be given, what is the year, make and model of your car?

Where in the car are you attempting to place the seat?

How are you attempting to install the seat - LATCH or seatbelt?

Any answer given prioir to my questions cannot help you.

Ford edge 2013
We tried both in the middle (w. Seatbelt) and on the passenger side (w/ latch)

We prefer the middle, but if the seat worked better on the passenger side back seat, we would have been willing to give that a try.

Thanks in advance...

We also have the britex. I am not sure how to change the incline but you can do it. Did yours come with a book? I am sure they have instructions. We have no issues

Sorry for the delay in this answer - the passenger side may work better in the Edge, that said, the rear facing Britax is a more upright seat. The guide is the blue line on the side. The line should be parallel with the ground. You cannot recline the seat more than that.

If you have further questions - fm me and I will talk more on what t look for.
