around 7 months started with cereal and Puffs. Don't need teeth. Both were soft and could be gummed.

After he got that down I was giving him small pieces of pancakes, soft turkey meatball, matzoh ball soup, avocado, etc.

Mostly soft foods that break down easier.

Around 7-8 months I think for real table food. Around 6 months for puffs.

Started giving DD purees at 6 months and by 8 months she was sick of them. She wanted what we were eating so we started giving her table food.

I gave cheerios and puffs at at 7 months. At 8 months I started with soft fruits and steamed veggies along with toast, pasta, rice, tiny pieces of meat. From there we just gradually added more and more variety.

6 months old...........DD ate everything. Yogurt, cheese, meatballs, meatloaf, pasta, bread, mashed potatoes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc.

She didn't have a single tooth until she was a year old. They don't need teeth to eat. Teeth are for mostly for tearing but as babies you're giving them soft foods only so teeth aren't necessary. Their jaws are very strong and even when they are all gums they can handle chewing food. Chat Icon

We skipped baby foods all together and started table foods between 7-8 months with all 3 kids.
