Baby Shower Shipped Gifts to the Home?
Hi I wanted to know what do I do with all the gifts that I rec'd shipped already to my parents home before the Baby Shower. Do I open them before the shower and thank the people at the shower for them? Do I open them after the shower? I know we will not bring them to the actual shower since that is why people shipped them directly to the home.
Thanks!

I opened them at home, and sent a thank you after the shower.

I would open them at home- personally, I would be too excited to wait to open the gifts.

Ok I guess I should do this and write down who got me what and thank them at the shower and then send the thank you after the shower.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Baby Shower Shipped Gifts to the Home?
I would personally ask the person who is in charge of the shower if they don't mind having the presents shipped to their home. And if they don't mind wrapping them as well. I threw about 5 showers last year and it was really annoying having the extra brown boxes just stand here amongst the pretty wrapped presents. Aside from being an eye sore, they were opened towards the end hastily and the mommy to be was searching through the box for the sender's info... It just took away from the whole opening the presents experience. If not wrapped, I would at least ask the person in charge of the shower to open the box it was shipped in and look for the sender info beforehand. JMHO
