When did you transition LO to a toddler bed?
Just wondering when you transitioned your LO to a toddler bed (either putting the toddler rail on your crib or big kid bed)

When did you transition LO to a toddler bed?
Ds started climbing out just before he turned 2. We took off the frnt of thecrib and put a rail for a couple weeks. Then we got a twin car bed so I could lay with him.

When you say climb out you mean your ds would literally climb out of his crib? Omg im so scared my dd will.figure that out! Lol

DS is 22 months old & has been in a toddler bed for over 2 months. We had DD on the way & I felt like he was ready anyway, & he loves his bed. We found a train shaped toddler bed on Craigslist, great buy & I think the fun frame helped him to be excited about it.

We are going on three mos now, and it's still not easy. 3-4 nights a week she stays in toddler bed, and the other nights she gets out and is on ours at some point.

We skipped the toddler bed. All 3 went straight to twin beds.
 #1- 17 months
#2- 15 months

When did you transition LO to a toddler bed?
28 months was when he went into a toddler bed because he was climbing out of the crib. It was a rough transition for sure - I don't think he was ready for the freedom of the bed, and I think he missed how cozy the crib made him feel. It took him a few months before he stayed in bed consistently at night.

At 2 she went into the toddler bed. Now she's almost 3 and in a full size bed.

Yes, he would get one leg up & over and pull himself up and over the side of the crib. We turned the crib backwards so the shortest side (front) would be to the wall temporarily and put couch cushions on both sides to cushion his dismount 
Those if you with kids 3+ still in cribs.. I am jealous!!

We moved DD into toddler bed when she was 3.5- she loved her crib and never climbed out, I got pregnant and didn't want to lift her in and out.

DS was in his crib until a bit over 3 1/2. He never really tried to climb out and seemed pretty happy. But he started to give us a hard time going to bed and going in it plus we were having another baby so we knew we'd want to move him. We put him straight Into a twin bed.
I miss him being in there.

When did you transition LO to a toddler bed?
We turned the crib into a toddler bed just after he turned 2. Now at 2 years 6 months, we just moved him into a full size bed last weekend.

Moved my daughter to a toddler bed at 3 1/2. She never climbed and was happy in her bed but then started to ask for a big girl bed. It went great. I think it depends on the child, I think my 19 month old will probably need to transition earlier.
