why dont sick people stay home- VENT
its so annoying
and crazy
My bosses wife complaining how she is freezing, chills and her ears are killing her
heat is on like 75
UMMMM go home, its holiday time and we dont all wnat to be sick- plus us pregos are limited on that we can take
ok vent over!

Agreed. Last winter when I was pregnant people came in with the f'ing flu and fevers. Ummm don't be a hero, go the f home. I finally said something and then at a staff meeting they said to stay home especially bc I was pregnant. Although it was the type of office where you work 24/7 sick and all. Grrrr

unfortunately ive run into the same thing....and sometimes it is because people just dont have the sick time to take.
i have one co-worker specifically who always comes in sick. there are times my boss has told her she should stay home and her reply is - i have no sick time to take. she has three kids and when they get sick she has to stay home with them bc daycare wont take them...so shes forced to suck it up or not get paid for the day
on days like that i hide in my office and carry around purell

I can't stand that either. One woman in my office came in with BRONCHITIS. Coughing all over everything, no attempt to cover her mouth, doesn't wash her hands at all (not even when she goes to the bathroom!). I wrote an email to my boss saying that they need to speak to her because she is endangering the health of everyone in the office, and my child. They sent her home and told her to stay home the rest of the week.

I agree. We once had this coworker who was sick with the flu for the whole Winter season! Not only was she sick but she wouldn't cover he mouth! Or when she would cover her mouth she would then touch something of yours like your mouse or your keyboard.
She got her whole department sick. Some were so sick they had walking pneumonia!
Ugh!

I hate when people come in coughing and sneezing all over the place. Blowing their noses, leaving their tissues on their desks .. so gross and so inconsiderate.
