Sick people vent!!!
I hate, hate, hate it when adults come into work sick and then spend the whole day being mopey and whiny.
You know when people talk like Eeyore? Or they talk like a kid? It's like - you're an adult with the sniffles. Act like one please, not like a mamsy pamsy whiny baby (no offense to babies). No one likes having the sniffles or a headache but really....suck it up.

Same here.. Plus I get in BIG trouble when I take off from work. I called out for the first time in a year and it was like the end of the world. I even came to work with food poisoning and was told specifically that it was an inconvenience to my boss for me to get it and that I wasn't allowed to have "sick issues" for the next two weeks...

Yes! A woman came in today with red eyes and kept complaining how itchy they were. I wanted to yell If YOU HAVE PINK EYE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

That ANNOYS ME TO NO END. not only are they not productive, they usually end up infecting someone else.
Even worse are the ones that whine, "I should be home right now. I wanna go home. My ear hurts/this cough/my head/mehhh ehhh ehhh. Wahhhhh."
1. Grow up, you have a job and responsibility.
2. Take some medicine.
3. GET OUT OF THE OFFICE, no one needs to hear you.

the whining doesnt bother me- I can be sympathetic when someone isnt well
but people who come to work sick and cough all over you and spread their germs- that pisses me off- keep your cooties to yourself!
