Sleeping a lot after being sick?

Is it normal for a baby to sleep all day after being sick? DD slept for 4 hours this morning, took a 4 oz bottle (that took her 30 min to finish), took a bath and then fell back asleep. She just had roseola (she got the rash on Saturday). My nanny wants me to call the dr, but I don't want to be crazy. Do you think it is just from being sick, or should I call the dr? Thanks!

If she has no fever, eats, pees and is reactive when awake, then no I would not call. Its just the day after and I know AJ and I both sleep off being sick. For AJ (and me) we spend so much energy being uncomfy that when we are comfy we catch up on sleep. Usually only about a day's worth.

If she's still lethargic the next day, I'd take her in. Can't hurt.

soooo how she's doing today? Btw.. AJ had a fever this morning! LOL I was just thinking how wonderful its been sick free for nearly 2yrs. Thankfully it went away with some tylenol. So that got me thinking of yours of course.

Hope she's back to normal today
