How many ounces does your 8 month old drink.

In a day.
Ds is less and less interested in bottles and wants real food!

I know the daily minimum was 20oz at 6 months but not sure now.

Also when did you go from 4 bottles to 3

And does he/she have more than one container of food at a sitting?

yup.

Grace just turned 10 months yesterday and WAS taking 4 bottles, 6-8oz each.

She has been eating more and more table foods over the last month and now will only take between 4-6oz per bottle.

I am going to knock her down to 3 6oz bottles (will increase back up to 8 if she wants it) in prep for milk!

ETA - breakfast is usually all table food. If I were feeding her baby food, it would be oatmeal, 1 tub stage 2 fruit and some puffs.

She eats yogurt and veggie or fruit for lunch

Veggies and cereal or table food for dinner!

dd takes 27 ounces a day
im not sure what is "expected" at 8-9 months
all i was told is if shes willing to eat the food - let her eat as much as she wants. typically she eats a jar at each meal (dinner is a jar and oatmeal) and some puffs. i think she would eat more then one jar but for some reason i stick to one

9mos - she will take more if its warmed... at one point she was barely drinking at all... But shes at around 20oz now, she eats every drop of food we give her tho...

looks like we are at 3 bottles right now... she usually falls asleep before the night bottle... if i give her any she will take about a half oz and then push it away put the paci in her mouth and snuggle to sleep

ETA: i usually eyeball cereal then 1 stage 2 fruit.

turkey/chicken/beef with a veg

snack usually puffs or a ellas kitchen cookie.

DS will be 9 months next week.

He has 26 oz a day, normally drinks it all. 3-6oz bottles and an 8oz at bedtime.

He has a stage 2 jar for breakfast, lunch and dinner and puffs or crunchers with each meal also.

We have started offering him what we eat with dinner and also giving him some bites pancakes on the wknds since that is the only time we have breakfast with him.

Around this time DS became more interested in food and less in bottles. Our ped said not to worry. Some days DS takes 12 ounces, some days 20 ounces. Once in a while he'll take up to 26 or 28. As long as your baby is happy and gaining weight, it's not a problem.
