My pants have reached maximum capacity
At 14 weeks my regular pants feel like they are going to rip at the seams, i guess it's time to find some maternity pants. I am not a big fan of the one with the stretchy material at the top, I felt like I was wearing spanx! Any1 else have comfy pants, maybe somethin with elastic? Yes, at 31 yrs of age, I need elastic wasted pants! LOLOL I got some leggings but really need something dressier for work I guess..

get pants that have the elastic under your belly instead of full panel pants. i got good ones for work at gap maternity (we're talking 2.5 years ago but i'm sure they still have good ones)

Re: My pants have reached maximum capacity
I was just gonna say that gap has great black work pants. I wore them last pregnancy and bought a new skinny pair this time around. I am also 14 weeks and these are the ones I love. I did order a size down though, they fit perfectly!

Oh man, I just got my first pair of maternity jeans with the full panel and I've never been more comfortable in jeans in my life! I wish all jeans had this panel instead of a button and zipper! I don't really need to wear them yet but I do b/c of the comfyness factor lol.

Re: My pants have reached maximum capacity
Half panel is good until you reach about 7 months pregnant and then they get so uncomfortable. At least for me they did. Now I just buy full panel from the beginning so they last the whole pregnancy.

No one else feels like the full panel is suffocating spanx-like? Maybe Im looking at the wrong ones, or not trying on the right size. I felt like a sausage..

The full-panel pants are amazing and super comfy ;) The under the waist ones dig into my belly when I sit :(

I just got mine from motherhood maternity. I actually said the panel was like spanx but much more comfortable. Like if I bought spanx that were 2 sizes too big.

Re: My pants have reached maximum capacity
Ann Taylor Loft has some nice demi panel pants too. I have 2 pairs. I like both but I think as I get bigger the full panel will be more comfortable.
Loft Pants
They have 40% off sales all the time. I waited and then bought 4 pairs of pants from them. They're a nice quality and don't look cheap like some maternity pants do.

In the beginning, I didn't like it, but now that my belly is bigger and heavy, I like the support. Plus, my belly button sticks out, so I like how the panel smoothes the bump. The half panel squishes the baby.

I hate the under the belly ones...they are just not comfortable on me.
I love the full panel ones the best. I have a pair from Destination Maternity and a pair from the GAP.

I like the full panel more and more as my belly grows- I find the Demi panel cuts into my belly when I sit for awhile.

I am at the same point. Tried on my "bigger" work pants today and they are officially tight. Luckily, I just ordered some maternity pants so they should be coming shortly. As I sadly looked in the mirror this morning, DH goes, " You do know you are pregnant right?"
