Hi all...Planning a Disney trip for October 2014. Family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids at the time ages 5 and 18 months.


What site should i book thru? Should i call disney directly? Any recommendations on where to stay or read would be great as well?

i go to disney direct.. check mousetales and allears.net but end of the day.. i book with disney

personally I love French Quarter (Port Orleans) but everyone has their own thing. I like its smaller and so its less walking, quieter and cheaper without being cheap. Its just a room to sleep in as we spent all our time out at the parks. Its a one bus stop always first on and first off. buses are quick and easy. Very useful when kiddo falls asleep. I dislike the rail because its jammed packed and annoying but a lot of others like it because it runs through the contemporary resort so.. really it depends on what YOU want.

Luxury - all the bells and whistles
Bang of your buck - willing to spend a little extra for something special
Middle ground - affordable but still useful and fun
Thrifty - Not cheap, but not overly done up either.
Economical - really dont care about anything as long as its affordable, willing to make some sacrifices

I generally consider myself thrifty and ive done economical twice.. Once on property, once off... i regretting doing cheap on property but really wasn't too disappointed doing it off property, if youre going to drive or do other things in Florida.
