Prolonged bleeding (TMI)
Sorry it might be tmi, but lately my cycle is lasting almost 2 weeks. I have had water snood done ( had fibroids and polyps removed 2+ years ago). My gyn says it could be endometriosis but my re never said this was the issue. Could it be because of ovarian cysts? Sorry.. Just kind of venting.. No one can answer me

Re: Prolonged bleeding (TMI)
Was your water sono recent? Prolonged periods are usually linked to fibroids or hormonal imbalance. I had stage 4 endo and I never had prolonged bleeding at all. Did Dr. P see you for a sono? He's pretty good about diagnosing endo and would do a lap or hysteroscopy if he thought this was an issue. I would def call them back bc that's way too long to have AF! Ovarian cysts can cause bleeding but usually when they rupture, not prolonging AF each cycle. Hope you get some answers!!

Prolonged bleeding (TMI)
I had my last water sono in February and no fibroids or polyps were present. I had some removed 2 yrs ago by my gyn.

That was 9 months ago and you said that lately your periods have been almost 2 weeks. So perhaps you need to be checked again? Have you spoken to your RE about it?
