Trigger shot ladies ......question please

I went in today on cycle day 9 (I usually ovulate on 12) had a R side follie of 20/21mm Dr said I could trigger today and come in forIUI tommorow and BD sat or I could wait and trigger tommorrow and come in sat for IUI - My concern is cycle day 9 seems too early for the follie to be healthy? But if I wait will I miss my window? Uggh next month im going to switch to a RE because I am so confused and dont feel like my OB/gyn is covering all bases.....I know I know I should have been seeing a RE......all along. So my questions are How soon after you triggered were your IUI's timed? and what was your folie size at the time of the trigger? and what was your cycle day.? sorry to be so long winded.....

what meds were you on?
if it measures 20 you are fine to trigger. i wouldnt worry about the cycle day - its irrelevant and different for everyone. its been awhile but from what i remember IUIs can be anytime the 36 hours after trigger - preferably 2 back-to-back days the day after trigger esp if you trigger at night. good luck!

The sizeof the follie is fine to trigger. I usually like to trigger as opposed to waiting for natural surge so the timing is better.

I once Oed on CD5. When taking meds to stim follie production, your cycle can change from month to month. There is no knowing what's happening.

Hopefully you get pregnant on this cycle and you won't need an RE. But if you don't, I would def. move on and go to an RE for treatment.

Thanks ladies for the reply - I waited until the morning and still had n lh surge naturally so I triggered thi am and Dr ismeeting me tommorrow for IUI - this is all so stressfull :).....hopefully I get my BFP though! Thanks again for taking the time to reply
