Closet/Clothing organization

I'm completely procrastinating here, I admit it.

I have PILES of clothes that need to be hung back up in my closet and it drives my husband nuts. But here's my question - what do you do when you have all this stuff that you can't really fit into taking up all of your closet space and then you need to go buy maternity clothing? Where do you put the new clothes? If the advice is to put my regular clothes in storage tubs until I fit into it again, then I don't need to hang my stuff up! Or do you put the maternity stuff in tubs since temporary? Any suggestions?

I could not live out of bins, so I put my regular clothes that did not fit me in bins and put them in the attic and put my maternity clothes in the drawers/closet.

That's what I did. Though I didn't have SO much maternity clothes. A few hanging things and I just had 1 drawer of stuff. After I had DS, I just swapped the tub stuff and put my maternity clothes in the tub to store until I get pg again.

I have been debating the same thing- I do not have too much maternity stuff so I am considering emptying one drawer into a plastic bin and putting my maternity clothes in the drawer.
