blankets?
this might be a dumb question, but what kind of blanket do you put over LO in the car seat when it's cold? Like when I come home from the hospital...do you just put a receiving blanket in there or something warmer? I have a few blankets but they are all kind of big

Re: blankets?
dd was born in February and we just had her with the car seat cover on (we warmed up the car before putting her in it) but the times we would take her out when it was cold and i thought she needed a blanket, i used a warm fleece one. they are big, but i just folded it over

Re: blankets?
with DD we either used a flannel receiving blanket or a knit blanket that my friend had made us which turned out to be the perfect size for the stroller or car seat

this question is not dumb because at least your asking it! i never even thought about it prior to actually walking w/ ds1 out of the hospital and thinking....gee....why didnt i think of a blanket???
this time i have both a receiving and big fluffy warm blanket packed in my hospital bag. i will see the weather and cover him/her accordingly.
i also bought that bundle me. i didnt know about it until ds1 was almost out of his infant carrier.
you would really have thought i was living under a rock w/ my 1st child! lol

I have one of those jj cole car seat covers too. I think i'll pack a flannel receiving blanket and a fleece one too just in case.
