I passed out during my CD3 blood test!
Has this ever happened to anyone? I sometimes get light headed and warm when blood is being drawn, but I have never passed out. I didn't fall over out of the chair or anything, but definitely felt my eyes closing and was non responsive for a minute or two. For some reason, I was embarrassed and when I finally came to, I kept apologizing. Ugh!

That's happened to me numerous times after a blood draw . Once I passed out, came to a minute later and threw up everywhere lol
Now I have to lay down when I have blood taken. Makes a world of difference ! Nothing to be embarrassed about, more common than you think!

Re: I passed out during my CD3 blood test!
This used to happen to me all the time. in fact my GP wont allow me to come for shots without my mom, at 33 years old. Sadly lately i've ha so much blood drawn between my ear issues, my fibroid surgery and fertility tests, it no longer phases me. As far as I'm concerned passing out is a good thing, it means your healthy enough you don't need to do it often.

I used to be like this when I had my blood drawn now I know just to turn my head and not watch. But last month when I had my HSG I was so close to passing out after it was over and they sat me up not even during the procedure go figure lol. I started dry heaving and everything I was so embarrassed I also felt the need to apologize a million times. Lol it happens their used to seeing it.
