I really think it depends on who you get. My pics came out pretty cute, but the hard sell at the end was enough for me to say never again. I'm trying out Jcp this time

I have gone twice before and got decent pics (for the price) but this time I was so mad at the waste of my time more than anything. The pics were beyond awkward.

I've gone three times with DD, and had good experiences 2 of the 3. The one for the holidays last year wasn't awful, but I wasn't thrilled with the photographer or the salesgirl. I loved the photographer for her 1st birthday, and am going to try and request her next time we go.

I've done this a few times. They way I figure it, for the price, as long as I get one good picture then I am happy. I can't really blame the photographer if my son is not cooperating. His first bday pics were awesome, as were Christmas pics last year. I went for easter pics in May and they were just ok. But, DS no longer sits still.
