I get it every year and got it for my 9 month old son. I hate when he even has a little cold... I would never want him to get the flu!

This.
Most people I know who get the flu shot end up with the flu just about every year. I don't see the point. I've never gotten a flu shot and have never had the flu.

Flu Shot
I never got the flu shot until I was pregnant with DS#1 in 2010. I've gotten it every year since. DS has gotten it since he was 6 months old. I forced DH to get it last year -- he was one of those that insisted it makes you sick (it does not!) and wouldn't get it previously. Now that we are basically the only protection for the LO on the way I insisted.
I know there are no guarantees but it was worth it to me.
