28 months and suddenly SUPER attached to me...

Like I can't even leave her line of site without crying. MIL was here last week and I was trying to clean the house, and Dd was crying that she needed me and missed me. DH took her to visit SIL around the corner last night (I stayed home), and she cried when she left and DH said even when she was there she kept saying "I miss mommy" but she did play and have fun. If she knows I'm going out w/o her she says "don't go mommy, I come with you..."

Is this a phase? I'm a SAHM, but I can't be with her every second of every day. Please tell me this will pass soon.

My son is 3 and he still does this. Have you thought about a separation program? DS did one, and although he still cries when he goes to his nursery school class, it prob would have been much worse had we not done organized separation classes

I hadn't really thought if it until now. 2 weeks ago, she would be like "see ya mom" when I left to run out. Then all of a sudden she got super attached. We had 2 Friday night's in a row where we had to go out and a baby sitter watched her and put her to bed, so I'm wondering if this triggered it...if it doesn't go away soon, I'll start looking into those classes.

I just left her w/ MIL, and while she cried to me the entire time after I told her MIL was coming, she was pretty good when I actually left. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
