Placenta Previa/early c-section
Found out yesterday that the placenta has not moved as hoped. I have a complete placenta previa and therefore will be having a c-section at 37 weeks. Did anyone else have this? I know they say the baby's lungs are matured by 37 weeks, but for some reason I'm still nervous about her coming early!

My son was born at 37 weeks and he was totally fine with no development issues. He was well over 7 lbs!

Placenta Previa/early c-section
My DS was born at 37 weeks and was 6lbs 9oz and was fine.....not even one issue. They never even worried about him being early.
He is now almost 2 and insane. Hit his milestones on time or early.
I would not worry.

Re: Placenta Previa/early c-section
I had complete previa with my son and ended up having an emergency c section due to bleeding. He was born at 37 weeks but had breathing issues so was sent to the nicu. The c section had to be done in the regular OR and they took many precautionary measures in case they needed to put me to sleep if something went wrong. I had 2 extra IV's inserted in the operating room and an artery line in case an emergency transfusion was needed. I was so fortunate that the c section went perfectly and none of that was needed. It is scary but you will be OK.
