Rolling over

About three weeks ago DS rolled over from belly to back twice. He can roll over from back to belly, but usually only does it when he's in his crib during the night. We put him on his belly and he just puts his arms out and his head on the floor LOL. He's 4 1/2 months. Should he be doing this more often? Why do it a few times and then not again? ANything I can do to help? I know he can do it but it seems like only when he wants LOL

Enjoy it while it lasts. Keep doing tummy time. Mine is 5.5m and is a rolling machine. Diaper changes are so much fun. Mine did it sporadically at first and now doesn't stop.

Re: Rolling over

My DD rolled over both ways a couple of times when she was around 4 months. She then wasn't interested in doing it anymore until now at 6 months. She's constantly rolling over from back to belly!
