Grocery delivery in the Caribbean?
Do you usually get groceries delivered to your resort when you travel to the Caribbean?
We are going to Atlantis next month. I have never gotten a groceries delivered to a hotel before but I feel like we totally got ripped off on just bottled water on our last trip to Disney. I don't know if I have just become more cheap or drinks got super expensive.

I purchase drinks and snacks at a local grocery store when I travel. Why would you have things delivered?

Snacks and drinks are crazy expensive at Atlantis, so if you're getting a suite and there is a grocery delivery service available, I say definitely do it. I've never used a service so I have no recommendation, but I would do a case of bottled water, snacks, some fresh fruit and maybe something for a quick breakfast like cereal bars or milk and cereal.

That is what I usually do as well. We do not plan to leave Atlantis when we are there.
Many people seem to get a grocery delivery on their Disney trips. If you don't leave the Disney property, you can't just go to a local grocery store for drinks.
I guess we can ask the cab driver to stop by a local grocery store to buy water on our way to the hotel.

when we go to Atlantis we stop at the store on our way from the airport to the resort. The food is more expensive than the US, but cheaper than at Atlantis itself.

This is what I do. If your kids are brand specific and it is dry goods I would bring it. I would also stop on the way as opposed to go to the hotel and then go back. There is also a little convenience store walking distance for water, milk, fruit stuff like that. Well it is walking distance from the Coral towers.

Re: Grocery delivery in the Caribbean?
I used foodstoretogo.com when I went to Atlantis. Still not cheap but better than the price of bottled water (and gratuity on top of that) on the resort. I basically used it for bottled water, drink boxes for kids, bottle of wine and some snack bags for the kids. Well worth it. I also packed a few snacks in my suitcases to have with us. We had meal plan so dinner and breakfast were taken care of. Often we had a big breakfast and 6pm dinner reservations so used our snacks as lunch.

Grocery delivery in the Caribbean?
There's a deli next to the comfort inn (on the back side of the small shopping center) that sells cases of water that are cheaper than the supermarket there. The supermarket is expensive and not walking distance. This deli is literally three blocks from the marina part of atlantis. Fyi I don't know if you've been there before but there's no reason to not leave atlantis. There are fun things around the island like the fish fry, the caves, shopping, that are not dangerous at all- tourists all over the place. Anyway that shopping center also has a pizzeria, a pharmacy, and a few touristy type shops with hats etc.
