Re: Late teethers
My DS got his first tooth at 8 months and then did not get more until he was 14 months old. The ped said it was normal. He then got 8 teeth on one day. That was not fun at all.

Late teethers
Dd got her first 2 bottom at 11 months. Then the top 2 at 13 months. Now at 16 months, some more are finally coming in. She's really on the slow side but who cares!

Re: Late teethers
DD didn't get her first until about 13 months as well. And then the rest came slow too. I was concerned too but the ped told me he has never seen a child who didn't get their teeth eventually!

Just wanted to say that even though he doesn't have teeth yet, he's definitely teething! Their teeth are constantly moving around under their gums so it's possible for babies to be uncomfortable w/o getting a tooth.
DS has clearly been uncomfortable and didn't get a tooth. Now he has 1 just about to come in and has been perfectly normal! Go figure.

Late teethers
My dd got her first at 11 months. Then the 2nd came right behind it. A month or 2 later both top teeth at about the same time. Now at 15 months shes got 2 back upper in and 2 bottom are coming in. And I think more upper because shes chewing LIKE CRAZY again.
The later they come in the stronger they are but at any point your concerned speak to your pediatrician he will know best at what point its an issue.

I'm with you- DS is 11 months and no teeth. My ped tells me not to worry, that he's seen kids as old at 15 months get their first teeth.

Re: Late teethers
My son didn't get his first tooth till 11 months( we swore he was teething from 4 months on hehe), then remained toothless till 14 months when all top 4 and the other bottom two came through at the same time. Now at 16 months all 4 molars are coming through...

Re: Late teethers
My dd got her first two at fourteen months. They came in together. After that it seemed the rest popped in pretty quickly. I wouldn't worry.
