Late Teethers

How old was your DC when they FINALLY got their 1st tooth?

When that 1st tooth finally came, did the other teeth come in pretty fast afterwards????

DS is 11 months old now and still no teethChat Icon

Re: Late Teethers

DS got his first tooth a week before he turned 11 months, his second one a few days later and now at 13 1/2 months he has 7. So yes, they came in pretty quick!!

DD was 10 months. They came fairly quickly after that. In fact, I think I noticed the second one just a couple days after the first.

Re: Late Teethers

Erik got his first teeth around 9 months, second at 10 months. The first 4 came in fairly close together but now at almost 18 months, he still only has 7.

Re: Late Teethers

Lily got her first two teeth when she was 11 months, 1 week old.
She had no indications that she was getting any teeth and then one day - there they were!
If it makes you feel any better, "they" say that the later the teeth come, the less they bother the child. Lily never really had any bad reaction to teething.

Re: Late Teethers

DS is the same age and also doesn't have any teeth. Chat Icon Since DS's 4 month appointment, all of the doctors in the practice have told me DS's bottom gums are swollen and his teeth should come in soon. At his 9 month appointment, the doctor flashed a light on his gums and I could see the two middle ones below the gums. I have no idea when they'll actually come in.

His first one was way after his first birthday. Within about 2-3 months he was ahead on teeth. A lot came in at once.

Re: Late Teethers

DD got her first tooth at 10 months. Her teeth were VERY slow to come in. It's nothing to worry about - it's just annoying when they want to eat a steak. Chat Icon
