for those who do PJ Library

I didn't know about this program until now. DD won't receive her 1st book until october probably which means she missed the first 8 or 9 books she would have been able to get. I was going to buy the books she would have gotten if we were signed up in time to start/complete her set. Can anyone tell me what the last 8 or 9 book were???

Re: for those who do PJ Library

The books are often seasonal, so I don't think that the first few that I got are the same first few that your DD would have gotten, if you know what I mean. For example, in August, we got one about Rosh Hashanah, since it was coming up. When I get home, I will list some of the other titles for you. We started when DD was about 6 months, I think. I love PJ Library!

ETA: I realized that what I said did not quite make sense. Yes, the same books go out to each age group each month, but it's not like it's a series where a baby born in January and a baby born in June would receive all of the same books.

Re: for those who do PJ Library

So apparently, I didn't actually start until DD was 11 months old. The ones that we received are:

May: Thank You for Me!
June: Baby Be Kind (currently one of DD's favorite books)
July: When I First Held You
August: Apples and Honey
September: Bim Sings the Baby

I can't go buy the ones that I missed though, because I don't know which ones are coming next January-June (the first group of books is 6 months-2 years).

How long does it take to start getting these? I signed up for this a LONG time ago and never got any books. But I should definitely have qualified. How do you know if you got rejected?

i think it starts when your DC is 6 months old or so. I think we got the first book when DS was around 7 months though.

We got these same books too ... and DS also loves Baby Be Kind Chat Icon

Gotta admit that I really don't like most of the others though.

How old is your LO? Depends on their age. I don't remember when my boys started. Maybe 6 months or a years. Chat Icon
We enjoy getting them. I'm in nj and I know pple have said depending on where you're from they've had issues do call and definitely see what happened.
As the boys get older the books change. My 4 yr old has different and longer books than my 2 yr old gets. My favorite is Nosh Shluff. It's too cute. I really liked the last books both boys got about Sukot too.

Re: for those who do PJ Library

You have to renew them and my DD stopped getting books for a few months now. I am trying to get her back into the program. My son is about to age out of the program for where we live.

Hmmm...I don't think that you should have gotten rejected. I first emailed the contact person at the synagogue that we selected to go through, and she emailed me with what to do. I signed up in March, and got the first book in May.

Thank you so much! DD will probably receive her first one when she is 14 months old. She should have been getting them since Feb. so your list helped a lot. Thanks again
