Did you or do you plan on asking before LO is born or after?

Speaking of godparents...
We're going to ask them when he's born. Not doing some big "asking the godparent" thing. When my sister and BIL come to visit, we're going to ask them if they want to hold their new godson. I think that's perfectly fine.

Ours pretty much know already. My sister and DH's brother. It's expected that way...if we didn't we'd be flogged by our parents 
ETA: actually my sister told me she was going to be godmother, lol. When I told her I'm pg her response was "What do you mean I'm going to be an aunt? I'm going to be a GODMOTHER!!!!"

Speaking of godparents...
I plan to ask them before the baby is born. My sister already knows she is going to be the god mother. We just need to decide on who the god father is going to be-- I do not plan on doing anything special.

I asked before I was preggo  it was after a few drinks and I needed some liquid courage to ask my SIL bc she might need to receive her confirmation. She chose not to do it for her wedding and was going she would for baby. She's all about it.

HMM DH and I know who the godparents will be, my sister and our very close guy friend who's like my brother.
We were thinking about asking them at the hospital or before...we're with the 2 of them all the time so just wondering if we should pop the question one day soon

Speaking of godparents...
we are asking my sister who lives in VA and my husbands brother who lives in NC. I don't know when we'll see my bro in law but I know my sister is coming when the baby's born. I was going to give them picture frames that say godmother/ godfather and they can put a pic in it of them with the baby.

I was due in February and for Christmas we got my sister and brother in law an ornament that said...I love my godparents.

Speaking of godparents...
We waited a while before we christened DS. So we ended up asking them when DS was a few months old. DH and I have decided to us the same Godparents for DS #2 so we will probably ask them after he is born.
