Trying not to freak out....
So i know everything is probably okay but last night after work I was walking to the train when i tripped and fell over a barricade (there were barricades and mobs of people by my job because of the UN assembly and the pres being in town)...I went right down on my knee but i put my hand over my stomach area so my stomach never made contact with anything. I ripped my pants, bruised my leg and hand and was sobbing...cops surrounded me in seconds and wanted to get an ambulance, i refused... I was in shock but was also embarassed. I went home, I barely slept, DH wanted me to go to ER last night...I said i would see how i felt today, my leg swelled but of course i am worried about the baby. Going to the doctor at 11:30 (after I fought with the receptionist who told me the doctor couldn't see me until after 5). I am freaking out more today than i was last night

Awww, I am sure baby is fine. Sorry you got hurt. I was in a small accident when I was 5ish months pregnant, and dr said as long as there was no change in activity with baby, and no bleeding they weren't concerned. GL at dr's appt!

I'm sure everything is fine especially if your belly didn't hit anything. They have lots of padding! Just relax...stress can be damaging too!
Hopefully the doctor apt will put your mind at ease, good luck!

Re: Trying not to freak out....
Awww I am sorry that happened. I had a very similar fall and everything was fine - I didn't bother going to the DR because my stomach never hit anything or made contact with the floor. I was in shock for a few minutes because I went down hard. There really isn't anything to freak out about.
Take care
