Contractions starting(if you've been in labor before)
I'm currently 36w 5d pregnant. At 29 weeks I went to the hospital and had preterm labor(contractions that wouldn't stop for two days) since then I haven't contracted, not even BH. Fast forward to today and I've been contracting...lightly. If that even makes sense. Nothing major but definitely have not had this before. It's happening a few times within the hour. I have my high risk appt at 9am tomorrow at the hospital but was just wondering if anyone experienced this then went into labor shortly there after? I know at 29 weeks the day before I was in a bit of pain, shooting on one side and then I woke up and it was worse and went right into the hospital. Could the light contractions today mean it's the start of labor?
Sorry for the long post.

Anything is possible. I started having light contractions (minor dull back pain) they picked up the following day then the day after I had my son. Good luck!!

Re: Contractions starting(if you've been in labor before)
It could or couldn't be. For me I had contractions for a few weeks straight with DS, but with my DD I had timeable contractions for over 24 hours before I went into labor with her.

Thanks ladies. We shall see what the next few days bring and what the doctors have to say tomorrow.

Re: Contractions starting(if you've been in labor before)
I had contractions (felt it mainly in my back) but was having them. I went to my OB office who monitored me then sent me to the hospital. That was on a Thursday and I had a csection Friday afternoon at 35 weeks.
Anything is possible.

Re: Contractions starting(if you've been in labor before)
I've been contracting since Friday when I went to hospital. They stopped them for the night then they came back. I was 25% effaced on Monday but not dialating I'm 35weeks 4days so trying to keep baby I'm a little longer. Dr said as long as there not causing any dilation it's ok
My question was can't constant contractions hurt the baby?
