I will give the same response I give in every single flu shot thread:
Talk to your doctor, do independent research, and go with your gut feelings. Do not make medical decisions for your baby based on the results of an LIF poll. 
There are really hardcore pro-vax and anti-vax people on this site, I would not take advice from either of these camps, quite honestly.

We did it at 12 months (October birthday) and will again at 24 months. Not sure if I would do it before 12 months, but I guess we're lucky with the timing of his birthday and flu season.
ETA: I'm a teacher and get it too. DS is not in daycare, but he will be starting nursery in January.

I get it for both.
I know someone who got H1N1 after refusing immunization (adult). Almost died. Permanently injured. Everyone who knows her gets immunized now.
