Chemical or Change in Cycle Length
How do you know if its a Chemical or Change in Cycle Length?
I went off the pill about 3 months ago. I was 32 days then 31 and the lasted AF was 28 days... Not sure it that was a a Chemical or my body is still regulating.
When does a Chemical normally occur?

You would have gotten a positive pregnancy test and then a negative pregnancy test... I'm guessing it sounds more like your cycle is still just regulating itself, it takes MONTHS and MONTHS for your body to normalize.

I didn't expect to be pregnant so I hadn't tested, I'm first trying this cycle... But wasn't preventing prior. I was just surprised it came early and figured I would ask you ladies. Thanks Jess!

You can't have a chemical pregnancy unless you test, and would mean that the pregnancy itself is lost before a heartbeat can be detected. Your cycle length changes and it can be completely normal to go from 31 days to 28 days, and would never mean you had a chemical pregnancy. Your body is definitely still normalizing itself.

no reason to assume chemical. varying cycle lengths is completely normal - esp when coming off the pill and esp longer to shorter. if anything a sign of a chemical would be the opposite - shorter to longer. but nothing that you described sounds anything like a chemical.
