WWYD- long!
Hi ladies-
It's been a long time since i've posted on this board, but I need some advice.
DH and I are just about ready to TTC number 3.
A little back story, in case you don't know me.
I am 28, DH 31.
We have a 4 year old daughter and a 19 month old daughter.
My 4 year old was conceived via IVF in '08.
While TTC her, I began seeing an RE, had a failed Clomid cycle, a failed medicated IUI, a canceled IUI due to hyperstimming, etc.
My 19 month old, as well as a pregnancy prior to my 4 year old were conceived naturally. My first pregnancy was planned, used OPKs and got pregnant on the first shot. Unfortnately, that ended in a MC at 8 weeks. My little one was a complete and utter (happy) surprise.
Anyway- we are going to start TTC number 3.
All of the fertility issues lie within me. I have PCOS,Endo, MTHFR. I also hae issues with Ammenorea and probably also anovulation. The last two are my worst enemy.
I have had 2 cycles so far this YEAR.
My 1st cycle lasted 171 days.
My second cycle was 51 days.
I am currently in the 3rd cycle with no idea when AF will come.
It is a complete miracle that DD2 was conceived with no intervention. Total luck of the draw. Especially because DH and I don't have much actual intercourse because it's often painful as a reult of the Endo.
ANYWAY-
Like I said we want to start TTC, but I have no idea when/where to start. I am 29 days into the 3rd cycle. I was thinking of ordering some ovulation tests in bulk so I can just test every day, but I would think I should wait for AF to come again so I can start fresh with a new cycle. I don't know if I should even bother because you're not supposed to use them if you have PCOS.
I don't really know what else to say.
These thoughts are just consuming me like I am back at the beginning and I need help sorting them out.

If you have insurance coverage, and you are ready for #3, I would go to RE. If nothing else, they can help sort out your cycles so that you know what is going on.
Best of luck!

I completely agree. It sounds like you could be waiting for a while if you try to do it naturally. You just never know. I would at least go and have them do some testing and an evaluation.
ETA: You are both still young though so I don't know if there's any specific reason why you would want to rush it, so definitely consider that as well. You still should have a good amount of "fertile years" ahead of you, but again, it might be worth your while to get some testing done so you know what you're dealing with specifically.

WWYD- long!
Thanks, girls!
I'm definitey in no huge rush, but I don't want to try for years either.
I will have to look into my IF insurance. With my DD we were under different insurance and everything except IVF was covered. Hopefully something similar applies now.
Thank you!
